Expanding collaborative relationships with quality assurance agencies, members of ENQA and EQAR, represents one of ANACEC’s priority areas of activity on the dimension of internationalization. The exchange of experience and good practices of compliance with the Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) have a significant impact on the adaptation of the activities of the Moldovan Agency and the entire higher education system to the objectives of the Bologna Process on increasing the quality of education.

Thus, on February 7, 2023, in a formal meeting organized online, a new partnership agreement was signed between ANACEC and the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency (SQAA). The purpose of the partnership agreement is to establish a cooperative relationship in the field of quality assurance and evaluation in higher education, in order to jointly promote international quality standards in Slovenia and the Republic of Moldova by implementing concrete actions, namely:

• Increasing the visibility of the Parties in the global higher education area and international organizations in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
• Dissemination of experiences and good practices in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
• Mutual recommendation of experts for external quality assessment activities.
• Joint participation in national or international projects in the field of quality assurance in higher education, funded at national level or by other European / international institutions / organizations.
• Joint organization of conferences, forums, workshops, debates, informal meetings and similar activities.
• Providing mutual support in adhering to international organizations or networks of quality assurance agencies in education.
• Publication of joint studies and analyses on external evaluation activities in the two partner countries.
• Implementation of joint projects in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
• All other kinds of cooperation agreed between the Parties.

It should be mentioned that ANACEC and SQAA already participate in joint cooperation activities through the activities carried out within the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA) and the project “Enhancement of Quality Assurance in Higher Education System in Moldova – QFORTE”.
